Sudoskhina

Training: Initiated to music at the age of six, Sudokshina Manna Chatterjee was consecutively under the tutelege of Late Sri Sachin Basu And Sri Biresh Roy of Kirana gharana till the age of fifteen. Since then she carried on rigorous training from Vidushi Sanjukta Ghosh of Qasur Patiala gharana.
Academics: After completing honours graduation in English literature from Calcutta University Sudokshina acquired Master degree from Rabindra Bharati University in Classical vocal (Khayal).Sudokshina also received National scholarship from Govt.of India in Hindustani Classical vocal music.Presently she acquired Doctorate Degree from Rabindra Bharati University in Music.She is working as a Guest lecturer in a reputed college.
Awards: Sudokshina secured top position in numerous competitions including Dovarlane music competition,Ravi kichlu foundation etc.In the year 2008 she was nominated for Sangeet Natak Academy Yuva Award in Hindustani classical Vocal.
Overseas tour and major performances: Touring extensively within India Sudokshina also frequently visits countries like U.K. Germany, France, Switzerland, Austria, Holland, Belgium, Italy, Denmark, Sweden as well as middle East countries for concerts.
